$3.5 Million in Fraud Stopped

As the 2018 Individual Tax season winds down, let’s see how the Indiana Department of Revenue’s (DOR’s) numbers add up as of May 2018.

DOR has processed over 3 million Indiana individual returns this tax season. Of those returns, 2.7 million, or 90 percent, were filed electronically. And for good reason! Filing your taxes electronically has a number of benefits, including more security, a quicker processing time, and an 18 percent lower error rate than paper returns. 05.31.18
