Asset Management Specialist

This is an entry level opportunity.

An Asset Management Specialist will work approximately 40 hours per week. 

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Manage back-office operations- setup and maintain investment accounts, complete custodian paperwork as needed, execute account transfers.
  • Download and reconcile account information from custodian.
  • Prepare portfolio meeting reports.
  • Execute account trades.
  • Assist Financial Planners and Staff Financial Planners as needed.
  • Provide support for special projects.
  • Maintain and manage client relationships/respond to client needs.

Qualifications

  • College degree preferred.
  • Strong computer skills with proficiency in Excel, Word, Outlook and Power Point.

Starting salary will be based on experience between $30,000 and $40,000.

Staff Financial Planner

This is an entry or mid-level position in our company, depending on previous industry experience.  

A Staff Financial Planner will work approximately 40 hours per week, but may be required to work outside of normal business hours as this position has a direct involvement in client meetings. 

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Maintain and manage client relationships/respond to client needs.
  • Daily interaction with clients via email and telephone.
  • Gather client documents and input financial information into our computer models.
  • Prepare client meeting reports: agendas, financial statements and any other reports necessary.
  • Complete post meeting follow-up and research.
  • Run analyses for retirement cash flow projections and risk management needs.
  • Summarize insurance policies and estate planning documents.
  • Provide support for special projects.

Qualifications

  • 4- year college degree preferred. 
  • Strong computer skills with proficiency in Excel, Word, Outlook and Power Point.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Starting salary will be based on experience between $35,000 and $55,000.

Financial Planner

This is a senior level position in our firm that requires at least 3+ years in the financial planning industry.

A Financial Planner must be willing to work more than 40 hours per week as needed to best serve their clients. 

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Maintain and manage existing client relationships and market for new client relationships.
  • Analyze client financial situations, develop recommendations, and implement and monitor those recommendations.
  • Present and review portfolio strategy and performance with clients.
  • Discuss current economic environment and future outlook with clients. 

Qualifications

  • 4-year college degree.
  • CFP Designation or Series 65 license and on CFP designation track.
  • An understanding of Financial Planning process and the ability to complete and analyze retirement projections for clients.  
  • Strong knowledge of various financial topics including but not limited to: investments and portfolio management, insurance policies, estate documents, estate tax strategies, and personal tax returns. 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong computer skills with proficiency in Excel, Word, Outlook and Power Point.
  • Previous experience working with financial planning software is encouraged.

Starting salary for this position begins at $60,000 and is based on industry experience and qualifications.
